Here, no open world, no non-linear progression, or even particular novelty compared to its model. The least ambitious project of this small catalog of Pokémon-Like, coromone nonetheless a very enjoyable experience. What more can I say, except that the game from VEWO Interactive is only sold €19.99 on the eShop, and is also often on promotion (this is the case at the time of writing these lines). But its greatest quality surely lies in its world, with its interesting level design, but also with its colorful old school look. Its combats are pleasant, although they offer less strategic possibilities than the Pokemon old school from which it is inspired. So we now find ourselves with a very solid Pokémon-Like, with a rather pleasant scenario to follow, with very pronounced humor (and often meta), and above all more than 300 creatures.

Luckily, a huge update fixed most of the said flaws since then. A feature that worked poorly in version 1.0 of the game, which suffered from many problems, including balancing. This implies that the levels, both of wild monsters and those held by other trainers, adapt according to yours. For starters, forget the control of the original game, since this sequel allows you to roam freely in its semi-open world, and thus go and capture the creatures you want when you want.
Nexomon: Extinction takes the same and greatly improves the recipe. And of course, a large number of creatures to capture and battle. It nevertheless enjoyed a plot that was pleasant to follow and an omnipresent humor, carried by a large gallery of characters. The original installment was a nice but clearly forgettable experience, featuring painfully commanding progression, and had abysmal level design.
